In case it hasn?t been stressed enough, Bella Vista really values the outdoors! The city has several trails including one called The Back 40, which is 40 miles of trail designed for mountain biking, but is also open to pedestrians. The trails have different difficulty levels, depending on duration and elevation, so hikers of all skill levels can feel welcome and confident during their hike. The lakes in the area allow for fishing, boating and are ideal for water skiing and swimming, among other water activities.
The Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel is surrounded by gorgeous gardens and stately trees. This structure is modeled after gothic architecture from the 14th Century, blending a love for art and nature. The chapel can be rented out for weddings and other events, but it is also open to the public for those who wish to admire its beauty. The Bella Vista Arts & Crafts Festival is held annually in October and features artisans, exhibitors, and food vendors. It celebrates local talent while raising money towards art scholarships for young artists! The Crystal Bridges Museum features art and architecture as well as inspiring outdoor art exhibits nestled among nature trails. For those who love a good show, the Victory Theater is not far; it hosts musicals and plays year round. Places like Walmart AMP, Walton Arts Center, and even a few local restaurants feature live music.
